Representatives of so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" are blocking precinct commissions on the election day. Such information was reported by observers of a joint monitoring campaign of the Donetsk Office of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine and Civic Network OPORA.

  In Vinnytsa at the precinct election commission #50513, which is situated in Vilshanka village, Kryzhopil rayon, could not open the safe that contained the voting ballots.

As reported by Civil Network OPORA observers, all polling stations in the city of Lviv were opened on time.  

  Today, May 25, 2014, extraordinary Presidential elections will take place in Ukraine. More than 34 million of Ukrainian citizens who are already 18 years old and have the right to vote will be able to elect a new President.  It is worth underlying that more than 474 thousand Ukrainians are included to the voter lists at a single overseas constituency, namely Ukrainians will be able to vote in 75 countries at 114 polling stations.
