In Zhytomyr, a Group of Persons “Buy” Copies of Passports for UAH 200, and Promise UAH 1,000 for the Photo of a Ballot on Election Day

More than 66% of voters participated in the election process in Zhytomyr oblast. In general, the voting was held without major violations, which could have result in falsification of the election results.

"Governors, as well as heads of oblast or raion state administrations shouldn't be appointed by the President. It is public prosecutor's responsibility to represent interests of the President in the regions. He shall watch the implementation of President's decrees and government's resolutions," – the presidential candidate Oleh Tiahnybok has stated during meetings with voters in Korosten, on April 8.  

In the electoral district No.66, where observers reported the highest number of violations, a pro-government candidate Vitalii Zhuravskyi is winning.

OPORA observer reported a violation during signing of protocols in SMD #66 (center - Malyn city). A long-term observer of the Civil Network OPORA informed, that on the eve of the Election day and on the next day after the voting process he draw up two acts on violation of the Law of Ukraine "On Elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine" by heads of the PEC #180443 and the PEC #181161. The acts were submitted with two complaints against the DEC #66

In Malyn (SMD #66) observers from MP candidates detained people which photographed ballots.

In the last days before the elections, state bodies were attracted to the campaign in support of pro-power candidate in Zhyromyr city (single-member district #62)

In Zhytomyr (single-member district #62), campaign leaflets on behalf of famous Zhytomyr citizens were distributed in support of a candidate and governor Serhii Ryzhuk.

Product sets from an MP candidate were disseminated in Olevsk (single-member ED #64). This fact was noticed by observers of the Civil Network OPORA.

The court obliged the candidate for People's Deputy in the SMED No.62 Serhii Ryzhuk to stop placing campaign materials on 13 advertising spaces in Zhytomyr.
