In Zhytomyr (single-member district #62), campaign leaflets on behalf of famous Zhytomyr citizens were distributed in support of a candidate and governor Serhii Ryzhuk.
During the last week of campaign, in places where political advertising is not supposed to be placed, campaign leaflets appeared containing color pictures of Zhytomyr famous cultural figures, doctors and scientists, and a slogan: "I am - for Ryzhuk!" These leaflets are all over shop windows, and OPORA observer noticed them stuck inside of two Zhytomyr universities - Zhytomyr State Technological University and Zhytomyr National Agroecological University. I was reported that in Zhytomyr National Agroecological University a leaflet with picture of its rector - Professor Valerii Mykytiuk was stuck on advertising stand of faculties.
According to the Article 74 (4) (Campaign restrictions) placement of campaign materials and political advertising inside and outside the buildings of state government, governmental bodies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and local councils, enterprises, establishments and organizations of state or municipal property, is forbidden.
