On October 6, 2021, the Central Election Commission decided to amend the resolution on registration of a self-nominated candidate in constituency No. 197, Vitaliy Oleksandrovych Voytsekhivskyi (Resolution No. 370 of September 24, 2021) in pursuance of the decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court of October 6 No. 640/281/82/21. The court revoked the change of the candidate's name shortly before the registration.

In September, the most intensive election campaign in constituency No. 184 (Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Oblast) was conducted by 5 registered candidates. 4 of them were active at the unofficial stage of the elections. The first month of the election process was characterized by cases of pre-election charity by potential and registered candidates and by abuse of administrative resources.

On September 1, the election process started for the by-elections of people's deputies of Ukraine in constituencies No. 184 (Kherson region) and No. 197 (Cherkasy region). The elections are scheduled for October 31, 2021, and will have to take place because in the 2020 local elections a people's deputy Ihor Kolykhayev won as mayor of Kherson and an MP Olexandr Skichko was appointed as head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration.

Today, on September 28, representatives of the Civil Network OPORA and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to prevent and combat political corruption, including during election campaigns.

Although the official election campaign for the early mayoral election in Kharkiv did not start until September 11, the actual fight for the minds and hearts of Kharkiv residents began long before that date.
