This year's applicants who are eligible to apply no more than 5 universities still do not know the size of state demand in the universities. Thus, prospective students are deprived of opportunities to make informed choices about the cherished school. So, after the limit of universities will be exhausted, they may find that the number of state budget places for specific specialties will be lower than last year.

CN OPORA commenced the public monitoring of admissions in 2010 in 25 higher educational institutions of Ukraine. The purpose of monitoring is to collect and disseminate information on the quality and transparency of admission, protection of citizens' rights to equal access to education.

June 21. Today, during the external testing in chemistry at school № 28 of Cherkasy,  an applicant who cheated openly, was denied the right to continue work on the test.
