This report highlights the summarized results of civic monitoring of local councilors and mayors’ activities regarding openness and transparency of local governance and fulfillment of campaign commitments, which was carried out by OPORA activists in 15 regions of Ukraine.

On 29 September 2011 in Kyiv City State Administration was held Coordination Board meeting dedicated to the assistance of condominium development in Kyiv.

On 28 September 2011, the Civic Consortium of Election Initiatives held a press conference in Kyiv "Did the working group on election legislation improvement in fact consider the prior recommendations of the Venice Commission, OSCE and IFES?”.  Olha Aivazovska (Civil Network OPORA), Denys Kovryzhenko (Laboratory of Legislative Initiatives), Svitlana Kononchuk (Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research), and Oleksandr Chernenko (the Committee of Voters of Ukraine) participated.

On 11 October 2011 at 11.00, in IA "Ukrainian National News", Civil Network OPORA will air the results of monitoring conducted in 15 regions of Ukraine. The activists of organization estimated the work of local governments, mayors, the level of openness and transparency of local politics, and whether the work fulfills  the pre-election promises.

Civil Network OPORA analyzed the draft “Terms of university admission for 2012" published by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

20 September 2011 in Lviv city council took place Condominium Forum. Approximately 100 people were involved, including heads of condominiums in Lviv region, representatives of public organizations and local governments.
