The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered draft Resolution on making amendments to the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The document was submitted by member of the Party of Regions Volodymyr Makeienko. He has proposed to change the composition of 21 Committees.

Lviv office of the Civil Network OPORA is to launch the national campaign for the estimation of Publicity Index of local self-government bodies. Goal of this initiative is to estimate and compare the level of publicity of deputies, city mayors, and executive bodies of city councils in Ukraine on the basis of a specially devised methodology.

Civil Network OPORA is concerned about an incident when a group of MPs of Ukraine attempted to conduct the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine outside its premises on April 4, 2013. The Party of Regions has registered the largest number of draft laws for the second month in a row. In March 2013, members of the Party of Regions have registered 86 draft laws and resolutions concerning different issues. The AUU Batkivshchyna, which has registered 64 draft laws, is on the second place. March was the most productive month for the Svoboda and the UDAR.
