Since Autumn 2010, Condominiums from all over Ukraine demanded to solve the whole bunch of problems, faced by people which took responsibility for maintaining own houses.

Leading civic organizations united for the protection of the rights and freedoms and to overcome the crisis of democracy in Ukraine. It was reported on the press conference by participants of IV Forum of the Civic Assembly of Ukraine, participated by nearly 400 civic and expert organizations, including the Civil Network OPORA.

Yesterday, 15 March, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law “On making amendments to some laws of Ukraine on Condominiums” (No.8474). Deputies declined the most “harmful” for Condominiums amendments and adopted a number of norms which will ease a life of Condominium residents, and that may be considered as an achievement of civic activists

  On 20 March by the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on State Building and Local Self-Government and the European Commission "For Democracy through Law" (Venice Commission) was held an expert roundtable “Using legislation on elections of the people’s deputies of Ukraine in 2012”. Representatives of the public, deputies, experts and researchers discussed the perspectives of fair elections and guaranties established by the law.
