Electioneerers from Kryvyi Rih can earn up to 2000 UAH per month. Yesterday night the office of Stryi rayon organization of the Party of Regions (which is situated on 43Bandera street) was set on fire by the unknown individuals. Head of the office informed the long-term observer of CN OPORA that the fire took place on the night of 23/24 July. A bottle with burning liquid was tossed into the office window. The fire was put out by the man on duty with help of the neighbors.

Authorities in Cherkasy city traditionally continue fighting against the peaceful gatherings in a special manner.

The Head of Zmiyiv Rayon State Administration and the Deputy of Kharkiv Oblast Council, Yevgeniy Murayev is a potential majoritarian candidate from the Party of Regions in Zmiyiv region. Like all other potential candidates he has virtually started his election campaign. 

As reported by Nataliia Starikova, the Deputy Head of the United opposition campaign office in Cherkasy region, to reach transparency and objectivity of the elections they plan to record all the violations during the election campaign 2012 in Cherkasy oblast. This initiative emerged after a number of typical election law violations were recorded.

After working for a long time in the voting district # 165 in Ternopil region, former Head of the Security Service of Ukraine and Our Ukraine party Valentyn Nalyvaichenko has all chances to become a deputy from the UDAR party. This information is spread by the mass media and is refuted neither in Nalyvaichenko’s close circles nor in the UDAR.

Valeriy Romanov, famous human rights activist and founder of the nongovernmental organization Fair Kryvbas Movement in Kryvyi Rih, informed representatives of OPORA about the warnings his opponents directed against him. They threatened him that he will not get to the voting list of Ukraine – Forward party. The activist was told that the Party of Regions has its own person, who has influence on the list formation of Korolevska.

The election headquarters of the Radical Party started to work in Kryvyi Rih. The fact that oblast headquarters was opened outside the oblast center became the only case recorded by the observers from OPORA in Dnipropetrovsk oblast since the observation campaign of Parliamentary elections 2012 was launched.
