The CEC has approved statements of withdrawal filed by 36 MP candidates, including Dmytro Blaush nominated by the Radical Party, and Yurii Tarasovets affiliated in the UDAR party. Besides that, an updated version of ballot paper was approved comprising 91 surnames.

13 July was a deadline for submission of withdrawal statements by candidates or nominating entities in district #205.

Thus, having considered a statement filed by the Radical Party of Oleh Liashko on 14 July, the CEC has canceled registration of MP candidate Dmytro Blaush, nominated by this party. Oleh Liashko has commented on withdrawal of Dmytro Blaush on his personal Facebook page, affirming that it was done to protest against „arbitrary Administration of the President, stealing people's right to choose and deciding who'd going to get into the Parliament and who's not“.

Besides that, registration of 35 self-nominated candidates was canceled on the basis of their withdrawal statements (A.A. Herasymenko, V.Ye. Honcharov, R.R. Davletkuzhyn, R.V. Drozd, V.M. Dudka, S.H. Zakrevskyi, S.V. Zakharchenko, V.L. Kazakov, S.O. Koval, I.K. Kolesnikova, V.P. Koriahin, O.V. Krezub, Ya.V. Kuts, V.M. Kuchur, T.M. Lenda, O.V. Lopaiev, R.P. Mykailov, L.M. Nepomniashcha, S.M. Omelechko, O.S. Ostanin, T.V. Penenko, V.M. Pochkai, D.A. Pukhno, O.V. Piasetskyi, M.I. Ruban, L.I. Sapon, Yu.M. Tarasovets, M.A. Terekhovska, S.O. Tereshenko, A.V. Tiutiunnyk, L.M. Ulanovych, O.S. Kharchenko, V.D. Khoroshkovskyi, O.O. Shevtsov, M.M. Shpek).

Self-nominated candidate Yurii Tarasovets, who is the Head of Chernihiv oblast organization of the UDAR party, failed to provide OPORA an official comment concerning his withdrawal from the election.

Thus, as of early 17 July 2015, 91 candidates are nominated for by-election in SMD #205, including 7 nominated by political parties and 84 self-nominated candidates.
