Election law experts will explain the procedure of temporary change of voting location, particularly for citizens registered in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, city of Sevastopol, Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, or those willing to vote overseas. Besides that, the voters will be consulted on how to include their personal data into the voter register, or make updates if the data is inaccurate. OPORA's jurists will explain how citizens in special institutions or people with disabilities can realize their election right.

Experts will also provide consultations on how to report violations of electoral legislation and appeal to the corresponding bodies to counteract illegal actions or inaction of public officials and electoral subjects. In case the documented proofs are available, violations will be included to the Map of violations "2014 Parliamentary elections" (http://map.oporaua.org/).

Civic monitoring conducted by OPORA - is a type of network activity, aimed at impartial assessment of the preparation and conduct of elections, as well as preventing electoral violations through comprehensive civic action. Starting from September 2014, Civil Network OPORA conducts a large-scale observation of special parliamentary elections in Ukraine. The organization will attract 213 long-term observers in every region of Ukraine to monitor the campaign from its official start to announcement of the final election results. On the Election Day on May 26, more than 2,000 activists will join them to conduct statistically-based parallel vote tabulation.
OPORA will systematically inform the public about the course of election campaign, and whether electoral subjects adhere to the electoral legislation, officials participate in the race, and all the interested parties follow international standards. Large-scale civic observation is aimed to prevent violations during the election campaign and abuses during the vote count process. Besides observation, OPORA will conduct information awareness campaign, and secure legal support for citizens aimed to protect their electoral rights.
