Today, candidates are trying to find new ways of attracting public attention, and use social networks for that.

Thus, supporters of candidate Vladyslav Manhera (self-nominated candidate in district #182) who presents himself as a defender of Kherson city, created a fake page in Facebook in addition to their official page, where the candidate is presented as a movie hero, who saves not only his native town, but also the whole world. The fake page contains swear words, but a moderator, probably, thinks that it's acceptable for the voters, as long as they all are adults.

We remind that this candidate started campaigning with the creation of the Shield ("Shchyt") Non-Governmental Organization, which took a mission to protect the city from aggressors and started a check-up of air-raid shelters. Manhera was unknown to the city before this election campaign. However, his visibility rapidly increased thanks to a large quantity of billboards with a populist slogan "Let's protect Kherson".
