In Cherkasy, debates regarding the dissolution of the territorial election commission (TEC) and allocation of quotas for members of new TEC.

AUU Batkivshchyna has filed a complaint against unlawful actions of the Central Election Commission due to the fact that only one representative of the AUU-Batkivshchyna was included in the members of the TEC, and two other its candidates were rejected. At the same time, the Party of Regions and the Communist Party have three representatives each. The corresponding decision was approved by the CEC's resolution (#782) as of June 6.

Thus, according to the law, a political party represented in the Parliament has the right to have three representatives in local TEC.
