In Zaporizhzhya schools were "mined"

As of 6:00 PM in Zaporizhzhya there were two notifications about the polling station being mined. These were two schools in different city districts. OPORA was informed by the alleged mining of the school #41, which is on 6 Myru Street, by the official observers from Olha Bohomolets. Sappers with dogs came to school but did not find any explosive devices or materials. At the moment the commission works normally. In addition, the observers of OPORA inform about the "mine" in the school #112, which is situated in Khortytskyi district.

At the moment commission works in usual conditions, however it is guarded by dog handlers and police officers.

Civic monitoring conducted by OPORA - is a type of network activity, aimed at impartial assessment of the preparation and conduct of elections, as well as preventing electoral violations through comprehensive civic action. Since March, OPORA conducts a wide observation campaign during snap Presidential election, interim Parliamentary elections (district #83), and special local elections. The organization cooperates with 175 long-term observers, who are watching the course of election campaign in all Ukrainian regions. On the Election Day on May 25, 3,000 activists will join them to conduct the parallel vote tabulation, based on statistical sample.
