In Dnipropetrovsk the correspondent of the Tochka OPORY newspaper is not allowed to enter the polling station #121481, Ihrynskyi correctional center #133, which is situated on 5 Behtereva Street, Samarskyi rayon.The corresponded was asked to present the permit from the Penitentiary Service.

OPORA received a comment from H. V. Zinevych, the deputy head of the correctional center on social, educational and psychological work.

"I promise to solve this issue in 20-30 minutes," - said Zinevych.

According to the Part 9, Article 28 of the Law of Ukraine on Elections of the President of Ukraine "during the meeting of the election commission, including the vote count and determination of the voting results, at the polling station during the Election Day or during the day of repeat voting only the members of the election commission of the high level, Candidates for President of Ukraine, their authorized representatives (not more than one representative from a candidate), official observers from the Candidates for President of Ukraine, parties - the subjects of the election process, nongovernmental organizations (not more than two observers from one candidates, party and nongovernmental organization in total), together with official observers from the foreign countries and international organizations, media representatives (not more than two people from one media channel) have the right to be present at the polling station without any permission or invitation from a respective commission."

Civic monitoring conducted by OPORA - is a type of network activity, aimed at impartial assessment of the preparation and conduct of elections, as well as preventing electoral violations through comprehensive civic action.
Since March, OPORA conducts a wide observation campaign during snap Presidential election, interim Parliamentary elections (district #83), and special local elections.
The organization cooperates with 175 long-term observers, who are watching the course of election campaign in all Ukrainian regions.
On the Election Day on 25 May, 3,000 activists will join them to conduct the parallel vote tabulation, based on statistical sample.
