Civil Network OPORA is inviting to the national conference "The 1st year of the Parliament Reloaded: Synopsis", to be held in the Predslava Hall of the President Hotel (12 Hospitalna St., Kyiv city) on December 10, at 11am. Participants will summarize the first year activities of the Verkhovna Rada of VII convocation, determine the Parliament's role in settlement of social and political tension in the country, and discuss ways to the establishment of efficient foreign policy in Ukraine.
During the conference, OPORA will present findings of the research into activities of MPs and committees, transparency, openness, and institutional independence of the Parliament, as well as the complex assessment of political compromises and joint voting between factions and unaffiliated MPs. Representatives of the organization will propose to conduct an open dialog regarding settlement of social and political tension, and will discuss future plans for securing efficient foreign policy in Ukraine with MPs, officials, and experts.
The event will be attended by leading experts, MPs from different factions, politologists, diplomats, and representatives of international organizations.
