On December 15, elections in 5 "problematic" districts #94, 132, 194, 197, 223 will be held. Such decision was supported by 371 MPs on September 5. The election campaign will start in 60 days before the elections.
As it's already known, the CEC didn't accept voting results in single-member districts The appointment of elections in these districts was constantly delayed. The elections were planned to be held in summer, than in autumn.
Head of the VRU Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government Davyd Zhvaniia thinks, that draft law #2971-д – was compromising on all propositions.
According to the official site of AUU Batkivshchyna, opposition will nominate agreed candidates, which were running in these districts in 2012. These candidates were nominated by the AUU Batkivshchyna: Viktor Romaniuk (election district #94), Arkadii Kornatskyi (ED #132), Mykola Bulatetskyi (ED #194), and Leonid Datsenko (ED #197). AUU Svoboda nominated Yurii Levchenko (ED #223).
The opposition informed that the law should apply to these 5 "problematic" districts only. On the question, why not 7, representative of the opposition Andrii Parubii answered on his Facebook page "it would mean that we agree with the possibility to deprive mandates through the court".
