The UDAR party has nominated today its candidate for the position of mayor in Yenakiieve. This candidate is Denis Kazanskyi, a journalist from Donetsk city, who is known as a blogger frankensstein.
According to the party's press-service, all the necessary for registration documents were submitted to the Territorial commission today. Denis Kazanskyi says that the commission shall take decision on the registration today at 16:00. However, he also mentioned that when submitting documents, he got a hint that he won't be registered.
"Being a journalist, I'm interested in such an experience. I want to know what it's like from the inside, – the blogger comments on his nomination. - As long as I can't nominate myself, the UDAR party nominates me, but I am unaffiliated", - told Mr. Kazanskyi.
According to the press-service of All-Ukrainian Union Fatherland, Ihor Slavhorodskyi also wants to participate in the mayoral race in Yenakiieve city. He was nominated yesterday on the local party congress. Mr. Slavhorodskyi received higher education and works as Mining Rate-setter in mining and tunnel administration #10 in Horlivka city. He was standing as MP candidate from All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda in single-member district #53 on the Parliamentary elections. Now, he is unaffiliated.
We remind that special election for Yenakiieve city mayor will be held on 16 December this year. The reason of special mayoral elections became a death of the Mayor Serhii Rukhadze, who died this year after a stroke.
