OPORA observers reported, that hidden advertising on billboards was present in Chernihiv until November 12. Today, when the electoral advertising was removed, owners of advertising platforms have faced demand issues. As we already know, bill boards and city-lights massively appeared in the region during the campaign period.
Nevertheless, active campaigning in Chernihiv oblast came to an end in early November. Single member candidates were determined with a considerable margin, what resulted in peaceful post-electoral atmosphere. Everything is returning to its place, including commercial advertising, which was set aside during the last months.
However, hidden advertising was still present on billboards for two weeks. Slogans "Vote correctly" ("Holosui PRavylno"), connected to the information campaign of the candidate from the Party of Regions Stanislav Prokopenko, were noticed on billboards by OPORA observers on 12 November.
.
As it turned out that mentioned advertising space is not demanded, and most of platforms are empty.
The only campaign materials left in Chernihiv is advertising of Viktor Medvedchuk.
