Leaflets against the United Opposition were distributed in Kirovohrad city this night, in particular - against Valerii Mykhailovych Kalchenko (All-Ukrainian Union Fatherland) and Andrii Oleksandrovych Tabalov (Front for Change).
The leaflet was allegedly written on behalf of Valerii Kalchenko, the Head of oblast branch of All-Ukrainian Union Fatherland, with the headline: "Appeal of Valerii Kalchenko, the leader of Opposition in Kirovohrad, to Korovohrad citizens." The appeal is based on three open accusation of Andrii Tabalov (the leader of Fron for Change, a potential candidate in majoritarian district #99). It is mentioned in the end of the leaflet that Valerii Kalchenko took a decision to stand as a candidate for the MP of Ukraine in this district.
An observer of the Civil Network OPORA received a comment from Mr. Kalchenko on this leaflet, in which he denied his authorship. Besides that, Mr. Kalchenko have already submitted a parliamentary request to SBU (Security Service of Ukraine), police and prosecuting magistracy demanding to provide information on the printing house, which printed cards, and their customer.
Valerii Kalchenko also mentioned that today, 20 July at 14.30 will be held a press conference in which he plans to comment on the aforementioned incident.
No matter who disseminated this leaflet, his intention was to mislead supporters of All-Ukrainian Union Fatherland and the Front for Change.
