Press Conference: “A Heartbeat From the Start of Election Campaign: Preparing for Local Elections During the Epidemic, President’s Political Engagement, and Early Campaigning”

On Friday, September, 4, at 11:30, the UNIAN News Agency press center (4 Khreshchatyk Street) hosts a press conference on the observation by the Civil Network OPORA over the pre-election stage at local elections due on October, 25.

During the event, OPORA will present the first report on the observation findings during the preliminary stage of the election race. Experts will explain about the legal requirements for the organization and conduct of elections, about the political engagement of the President of Ukraine, about the election process in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, social media ads, early campaigning, and political conflicts.  They will tell more about the preparation for elections amidst the coronavirus epidemic. In addition, OPORA representatives will provide their assessment for the CEC performance and securing its autonomy.
