In connection to the blocked rostrum by the opposition, the Party of Regions and the CPU have left the Verkhovna Rada on Hrushevskoho Street. The pro-power majority decided to conduct their meeting in an assembly hall of parliamentary committees on Bankova st. Journalists have already named the situation as putsch. Leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, Arsenii Yatseniuk, has reminded that it's a repetition of events which took place in 2000, and called it Dom-2 (after reality show on TV).
The opposition held its sitting in VR session hall without pro-power majority. Member of the Batkivshchyna party, Andrii Shevchenko, has invited journalists from mass media lodge to the hall. Arsenii Yanseniuk urged the VRU Head Volodymyr Rybak come back to the hall and duly conduct meeting. Today, not much representatives of the opposition are still in the VR, many of them went to putsch. Deputy Head of the Svoboda faction, Andrii Mokhnyk, has announced that the opposition is planning to protest in T. Shevchenko park on Sunday at 14:00, under a slogan "Rise, Ukraine!".
Simultaneously, MPs headed by Volodymyr Rybak are adopting draft laws by voting with hands on Bankova Street. According to the ruling majority, 244 MPs were registered on the meeting. At the same time, the opposition informed that 168 MPs participate in their meeting. Two members of the Batkivshchyna joined them – Vitalii Nemilostlivyi and Roman Stadniichuk. They have also announced their withdrawal from faction. Mr. Nemilostlivyi has explained his decision: "Actions which took place yesterday were provocative. We should be responsible for those fellows, which do something there. If we cannot consolidate the parliament, the street will do it instead of us." However, the MP didn't support activities which took place outside the VR. "I am field man, and I came here to create laws which will bring the country from the crisis", - he added. Vitalii Nemilostlivyi and Roman Stadniichuk have informed that they will remain non-faction MPs.
