The Committee of Voters of Ukraine, Civil Network OPORA, and International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) are holding a roundtable titled: "AMENDMENTS TO THE LAW ON PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: EXPEDIENCY, CONTENT, PRIORITIES", to be conducted on October 15, 2013 in the Rus' Hotel at the address: Kyiv city, 4 Hospitalna St. (first floor) The event will be held from 10am to 1pm, registration starts at 9.30am.

In September, MPs have registered 342 draft laws and resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Members of the Party of Regions have submitted 196 draft laws and resolutions; AUU Batkivshchyna – 63; CPU – 29; AUU Svoboda – 11. Representatives of different factions have jointly introduced 22 bills. Non-faction deputies have prepared 12 drafts. MPs of the UDAR have registered only 9 drafts.

Civil Network OPORA has successfully passed the scheduled audit of financial statements for 2012. The assessment was conducted by an international company KPMG, which is one of the Big Four audit firms. The final report indicates that OPORA's financial statements accurately represent receipts and expenses as indicated in the accounting.
