Today, legal grounds are in place for a legitimate rotation of CEC membership by dismissing the 12 current members and appointing 11 new members of the Commission.

Today, on 7 June, two draft resolutions concerning rotations in the CEC were published on website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The President's submission contains 8 nominees suggested by parliamentary factions and 3 new candidates. 

Today, on 3 June, the President announced on the press-conference that he has already registered a submission on appointment of new CEC members.

According to the Law of Ukraine on the Election of People's Deputies of Ukraine, candidates can start campaigning on the day following their official registration by the corresponding election commission.
