AT 11:00 AM on 29 October, the military took equipment and documentation from the District Election Commission #52, located in the city of Dzherzhynsk, and left in an unknown direction. Some commission members went with the military. Such information was reported by observers of the Donetsk Oblast Office of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine and the Civil Network OPORA.
"An emergency situation occurred today. We heard explosions near the Dzherzhynsk in the morning. Shortly afterwards, DEC members were spreading talks that DPR can attack the city. At 11:00 AM, commission members took a decision to leave the DEC, justifying it by a safety situation. The military took all the documents and equipment, particularly server, into their car. They left in an unknown direction then, escorted by some commission members," — informed an observer.
According to witnesses, some of those commission members came back to the DEC at around 4:00 PM. The server is also in the DEC now. It should be mentioned, that the DEC confirmed that such incident had occurred, and members of DEC left the premises for some time. However, they couldn't confirm the fact that the documents and equipment was also taken out of the DEC.
Besides that, observer of the DOO CVU and the OPORA reported that some majoritarian candidates submitted complaints against actions of the DEC. "The candidates are extremely dissatisfied with the election results. According to them, they saw a lot of violations, which have significantly influenced the voting process," — stated the observer.
